**Ophthalmology Specialty Department Opportunities**

We are seeking an expert medical professional to provide exceptional patient care and management within our department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Delivering high-quality outpatient eye clinic services
  • Conducting cataract surgery with precision and expertise

**Essential Skills and Qualifications**

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • AHPRA registration or eligibility
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO) and/or equivalent specialist recognition
  • Demonstrated sound clinical knowledge in Ophthalmology, including experience in quality assurance activities
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to teaching and junior medical staff supervision
  • Ability to demonstrate senior-level medical/dental practitioner skills and attitudes
  • Familiarity with research concepts and a commitment to supporting basic, applied, or clinical research
