Reservations Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Reservations Manager to join our team at Novotel Sydney Darling Square. As a key member of the Front Office department, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless guest experiences.

Novotel Sydney Darling Square is strategically located amidst Sydney's CBD, Darling Harbour, and ICC precincts. With 230 contemporary rooms offering breathtaking views of the Darling Square precinct and The Chinese Garden of Friendship, our hotel is an ideal destination for both business and leisure travelers.

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Reservations team, ensuring high standards of guest satisfaction, and contributing to revenue growth through effective management of reservations in the PMS system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Reservations team in delivering exceptional guest experiences and exceeding customer satisfaction targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue through optimized room sales and yield management.
  • Maintain accurate records of all reservations in the PMS system and ensure seamless communication with the Front Office team.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the Reservations team.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

A keen eye for detail and excellent organizational skills.Experience as a Reservations Manager or Supervisor, preferably with knowledge of Opera PMS or Opera Cloud.A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and commitment to providing high levels of customer service.Natural leadership skills and ability to develop junior team members.
