Job Title: HR Administrator

We are seeking an experienced professional to support our human resources operations. As an HR Administrator & Payroll Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of daily administrative activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Management:
  • Manage the full accounts payable function, including requisition submissions, purchase order creation, invoice receipt, and payment requests using Workday software.
  • Review and approve employee expense claims submitted via Workday, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Process weekly payment runs and off-cycle payments as necessary, ensuring proper system interfaces and approvals are completed.
  • Assist with ad hoc or urgent payment requests and resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve queries and ensure timely resolution of payment-related issues.
  • Issue monthly advertising sales invoices to customers.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of accounts payable transactions.
  • Payroll Administration:
  • Manage and process end-to-end payroll operations in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by resolving employee payroll-related queries promptly and efficiently.
  • Process and manage leave requests, ensuring accurate leave balances are maintained.
  • Assist the HR team with WorkCover renewal and claims, specifically by providing payroll-related information and documentation as required.
  • Assist with termination payouts and related calculations.
  • Support the Finance Manager by preparing payroll-related documents and employee documents for government incentive programs.
  • Human Resources Support:
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team with day-to-day activities such as data analysis, record verification, and file management.
  • Assist in organizing people engagement events and activities, including vendor coordination.
  • Support standard HR reporting, including monthly metrics and other reporting initiatives as required.
  • Maintain employee records, including processing new employee data.
  • Prepare paperwork for HR policies and procedures (e.g. offers, salary changes).
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive company culture.
