We're seeking a seasoned Underwriter to join our esteemed SME team. As an Underwriter, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to Commercial Broking Customers across intermediated Packages and Commercial Motor business.
About the Opportunity
This is an exciting chance to contribute to platform growth and profitability by underwriting smart, sustainable risk and delivering outstanding customer service. You will work within your Delegated Underwriting Authority (DUA) and established guidelines, making confident decisions that matter. You will build strong relationships with brokers and stakeholders, and collaborate with a high-performing team that values independence, flexibility, and a can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to requests from brokers with speed, clarity, and confidence within your DUA
- Deliver standout service while meeting SLAs and workflow standards
- Underwrite new business, referrals, and renewals with precision and care
- Assess and calculate risk, keeping brokers at the heart of every decision
- Drive portfolio growth and retention while staying aligned with policy and guidelines
