Position Summary

The Flooring Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of sales initiatives, from initial client engagement to project completion. This role requires a strong understanding of the flooring industry, excellent sales and project management skills, and the ability to cultivate relationships with clients and industry partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with builders, developers, architects, and designers through proactive outreach and networking efforts.
  • Conduct sales and estimating processes to meet customer needs and achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct on-site measures and provide estimates to clients.
  • Oversee job site progress, ensuring quality control and adherence to project timelines.
  • Coordinate tradespeople and subcontractors efficiently.
  • Follow-up with clients upon completion of work to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership and management support to the team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop effective strategies and support professional growth.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in the flooring industry is essential.
  • Proven track record in sales, estimating, and project management.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
  • Goal-driven with a focus on achieving targets and delivering results.
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Experience in people management is an asset.
  • Existing contacts in the architectural and design community are highly beneficial.
