Azeus Systems Limited is expanding its ESG Business Development team to support Convene ESG Software, a solution that helps clients navigate sustainability reporting from compliance to next-level ESG governance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sustainability and ESG reporting or ratings/analysis, with 2-3 years of sales experience and the ability to work effectively as a team player in a cross-cultural environment.

This role requires significant interaction with clients, partners, and Azeus personnel, including developing and maintaining a Sales Pipeline, delivering customer presentations, and negotiating business deals.

Key responsibilities include providing day-to-day hands-on sales execution, building key customer relationships, and managing pre-sales activities through product demonstrations and advising on bid preparation.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing follow-up customer training and product implementation, while maintaining awareness of legislation and best practices.

Requirements include 1-2 years of ESG background, experience in demonstrating products to potential clients, including C-Suite representatives, and fluency in English.

The estimated salary for this position is around $80,000 per year, considering the location and industry standards.

The main responsibilities are:

  • Provide day-to-day hands-on sales execution, including marketing requirements.
  • Build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals.
  • Manage pre-sales activities through product demonstrations, advising on bid preparation, support with product pricing and realization of business plan targets.
  • Manage follow-up customer training and product implementation.

Activities include:

  • Develop and maintain a Sales Pipeline, including pursuing sales leads and prospective clients within our CRM.
  • Attend trade shows inter-state (if required).
  • Deliver customer presentations and proposals and negotiate and close business deals.
  • Maintain awareness of legislation and best practice.
  • Provide updates on sales leads to Senior Management.
