Job Overview:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team as a Maintenance Electrician. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the performance of our plant and equipment, ensuring established health and safety procedures are continually followed.

Duties:

  • Ensure compliance with One Harvest safety, health, and environment requirements
  • Proactively identify and coordinate preventative maintenance across the site
  • Responsible for completion of planned maintenance tasks to ensure breakdowns are prioritized to meet production needs
  • Provide technical support and training to machine operators for basic troubleshooting
  • To provide detailed account of all work performed and logged in our CMMS (Mex)
  • Investigate plant or equipment deficiencies that lead to out-of-spec finished goods
  • Assist with ensuring BRC and other standards are met

About You:

  • Able to work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals
  • A proactive and enthusiastic attitude coupled with a great work ethic
  • You will be a fully qualified Electrical Maintenance Technician
  • Experience with mechanical and electrical repairs, equipment failures & fault finding
  • Able to repair, change and improve machinery while ensuring principles of HACCP and GMP are not compromised
  • You will have a sound understanding of pneumatic systems, electrical drawings, PLC controls, variable speed drives and general mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
  • Ability to work rotating rosters and weekends
