Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Property Paralegal to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will work closely with Partners Martin Downing and Melissa Hore, supporting a variety of high-profile clients across various property matters.

  • Prepare and draft contracts for sale.
  • Attend to exchange of contracts and settlement as well as post-exchange matters.
  • Liaise with incoming and outgoing mortgagees.
  • Complete lease transactions.
  • Conduct settlements and prepare settlement figures and documents.
  • Liaise with banks, agents, and other stakeholders.
  • Utilise PEXA efficiently and independently.
About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Property Paralegal to make a meaningful contribution to our dynamic team. As a key member, you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise while working on complex projects.

  • You will be dealing with client/agent/solicitor calls & email enquiries.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous property paralegal experience within a legal environment.
  • Ability to handle an active file load, working on multiple projects and undertaking volume project conveyancing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to deliver high-standard service to our clients and work with third parties.
  • An organised and systematic approach to a busy workload.
  • A willingness to work with new technologies, with exposure and knowledge using platforms and systems such as PEXA and Aderant Expert is highly desirable.
