Job Opportunity: Hospitality Trainer

We are seeking a skilled Hospitality Trainer to join our team, responsible for delivering real skills and pathways for young people in a multi-campus school setting.

  • Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be accountable for implementing an instructional program in accordance with VET in schools' requirements and the HOPE (Healing Orientated Program of Education).

  • Collaborate with other team members to share leadership of the classroom and make decisions.
  • Plan, prepare, and teach programs to achieve specific student outcomes.
  • Participate in the development of innovative VET curriculum and demonstrate best practice approaches.
  • Maintain accurate records using the school's Student Management system and learning management systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current TAE (Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training) qualification.
  • Permission to teach through the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Capacity to support and model a learning environment that is safe, respectful, and productive.
