Job Title: Payroll Expert

As a key member of our payroll team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our employees receive accurate and timely payments. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the highest level of compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining accurate payroll data and records to ensure seamless payment processing.
  • Processing end-to-end payroll cycles with precision and confidentiality.
  • Interpreting and applying complex payroll legislation and agreements correctly.
  • Proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies before they impact employees.
  • Building strong working relationships across HR, Finance, and operational teams to ensure payroll processes run smoothly.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing within a medium-to-large organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation, and modern awards/enterprise agreements.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain payroll matters clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with HR, Finance, and operational teams.
  • A commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and continuous improvement.
