
Telehealth Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

As a Telehealth Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals across Australia through virtual consultations. This role offers the opportunity to work independently in a remote environment, making a significant impact on patients' lives.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting virtual consultations via phone and video for general health concerns, chronic conditions, and acute presentations
- Providing prescriptions, referrals, pathology requests, and ongoing treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
- Reviewing structured patient histories before consultations to optimize clinical efficiency and effectiveness
- Carrying out follow-ups and long-term care management, ensuring continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes
- Supporting a diverse patient base, including individuals in regional and remote areas who may face barriers in accessing in-person care
- Current AHPRA registration as a Nurse Practitioner
- Medicare Provider Number eligibility to claim, refer, and request services
- Proficiency with digital patient management software (telehealth experience preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach and ability to adapt to diverse patient needs
