You will be one of the first touch points for prospects, working closely with the Commercial Sales teams to develop account knowledge and relationship maps. Your goal is to set qualified prospect meetings with our Sales Executives and strategically prospect key account targets & contacts.
You will hold thoughtful and engaging conversations over the phone and email, leveraging taught sales techniques to maximize prospect interactions. You'll also be responsible for recording and documenting all activity in Salesforce.com and monitoring the social web for opportunities and leads.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a competitive spirit, be self-motivated, driven, and have a desire to be successful. You should be able to understand customer pain points, requirements, and deliver a response presenting Smartsheet as a solution. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to deal well with adversity and remain driven and resilient.
