About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Hi Rail Excavator Operator to join our Rail Operations division in Perth, Western Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating Hi-Rail machines, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating Hi Rail machinery, relevant operator tickets, and a valid Construction Induction (White Card) and Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card. You will also need to demonstrate experience working in the rail construction industry and be able to pass a CAT1 medical and comprehensive functional and Drug & Alcohol Screening.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Hi-Rail machines efficiently and safely
  • Maintain and perform safety checks on mobile plant, equipment, and company vehicles
  • Demonstrate high standards of safety and quality in all aspects of work
  • Communicate effectively with Supervisors and managers to ensure clear work specifications
About You
  • Previous experience operating Hi Rail machinery
  • Relevant Hi Rail Operator tickets
  • Valid Construction Induction (White Card) and Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card
  • Valid Drivers Licence Class 'C' or 'HR'
  • Demonstrated experience working in the rail construction industry
  • Ability to pass a CAT1 medical, comprehensive functional, and Drug & Alcohol Screening
