CSI-IPT DDG Governance Manager Job Description

The CSI-IPT DDG Governance Manager will play a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining the governance framework that underpins the delivery of the integrated Combat System design certificate for the Hobart Class DDG upgrade.

This position involves providing support to the DDG Principal Engineering Manager in ensuring all engineering activities are conducted in accordance with the DDG CSI Engineering Management System (EMS).

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support Engineering Activities: Ensure all engineering activities are conducted in accordance with the EMS, collaborating closely with the DDG Principal Engineering Manager.
  • Monitor and Control Engineering Activities: Support the DDG CSI Principal Engineering Manager and DDG CSI Engineering Operations Manager in monitoring and controlling engineering activities and managing technical risk.
  • Engineering Metrics and Reporting: Develop and improve engineering metrics and reporting processes, templates, and artefacts for DDG engineering.
  • Systems Engineering & Support Manager: Collaborate with the Systems Engineering & Support Manager in developing engineering plans covering CSI-IPT activities.
  • Internal Review Boards: Establish the infrastructure and processes for internal review boards covering critical engineering activities.
