Civil Maintenance Leader

The City is seeking an experienced Civil Maintenance & Fleet leader to oversee construction and civil maintenance delivery, fleet strategy, and operational excellence across multiple teams.

  • Manage supervisors and frontline staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Lead and mentor a team to maintain the city's civil infrastructure, roads, drainage, footpaths, and fleet.
  • Evaluate and report on business unit operations to enhance presentation and infrastructure.
About the Opportunity

This pivotal leadership role requires exceptional management and coordination skills to balance competing priorities.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or significant experience in civil construction and maintenance are essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and valid working rights in Australia are required.
  • Proven experience in civil maintenance and construction, ensuring compliance with WHS standards, is necessary.
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have expertise in fleet and asset management, procurement, and contract administration.

  • Manage operational and capital works projects to enhance the city's presentation and infrastructure.
