Overview

Susquehanna International Group (SIG) is a global quantitative trading firm seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our Options Trading desk. In this role, you will collaborate with Quantitative Research and Trading teams to design, develop, and implement trading signals, tools, and strategies used by the Options trading desk.

This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen, with a focus on delivering high-performance and scalable systems to support trading in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement client/server applications using Python and C# as primary development languages.
  • Collaborate closely with core development/engineering teams for various aspects of quantitative analysis, trading strategies, and signals development.
  • Partner with Trading, Quantitative Researchers, Infrastructure, and Strategy Developer Teams to develop and manage scalable and highly performant systems.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in software development (Python, C#, or Java) and 3+ years in backend systems level development (Python).
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Eagerness to learn about both the business and technology aspects of trading.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Expert Knowledge of financial markets and derivatives products.
