Job Summary
Montgomery Advisory is seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our Intellectual Property team. As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in advising clients on a wide range of intellectual property matters, including trade mark, copyright, and IP licensing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in trade mark, brand protection, copyright, and IP licensing to clients across various industries.
- Handle IP disputes, focusing on trade mark, copyright, and design infringement, and work closely with clients to resolve complex issues.
- Draft and negotiate commercial contracts with an IP element, ensuring that clients' interests are protected.
- Manage IP due diligence in corporate transactions, providing strategic advice to clients.
- Engage in business development, client management, and mentoring, helping to grow the IP team and build strong relationships with clients.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record in intellectual property law.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.
- Demonstrated experience in intellectual property law, with a strong understanding of trade mark, copyright, and IP licensing.
- 5+ years of post-admission experience, with particular exposure to intellectual-property related matters.
