Beach Safety Officer

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable Beach Safety Officer to join our team in Woomera, SA. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your lifeguarding expertise in a rewarding role with excellent conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise swimmers and ensure safety at all times
  • Enforce pool rules while maintaining a positive environment
  • Respond effectively to emergencies
  • Carry out routine pool checks and maintain water quality
  • Provide excellent customer service to all patrons

Requirements:

  • Australian Citizen
  • Pools Lifeguard Certificate (Royal Life Saving WA)
  • HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
  • HLTAID009 – Provide CPR (renewed annually)
  • Pools Operator Course – highly regarded
  • Working With Children Check & National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
  • Ability to swim 200m in under 6 minutes
  • Strong communication and observation skills
