Job Opportunity for Registered Nurse in BreastScreen NSW

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at BreastScreen NSW. The successful candidate will be working in a clinical capacity with Clinical Nurse Consultants, providing evidenced-based client-centered care and counseling for clients undergoing screening and assessment within the Western NSW and Far West LHDs.

The role involves ensuring the delivery of best outcomes through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and families. You will be based in Orange and work in a clinical setting, delivering exceptional care to women in Western NSW.

This position requires occasional travel to attend assessments clinics in Dubbo and other locations throughout Western NSW and Far West LHDs, which may involve overnight stays.

About BreastScreen NSW:

BreastScreen NSW is part of the national BreastScreen Australia program, jointly funded by the Commonwealth and state governments. Our aim is to improve survival rates for women with breast cancer by providing free screening mammograms to eligible women in the Western and Greater Western region of NSW.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide compassionate and evidence-based client-centered care
  • Collaborate with Clinical Nurse Consultants and multidisciplinary teams
  • Travel to attend assessments clinics in Dubbo and other locations
Requirements:
  • Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Experience in breast health nursing or related field
