The Health Workforce Queensland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Speech Pathologist to join their team in the beautiful Whitsundays region.

As a Lead Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality assessment and therapy services to support a caseload of clients through the lifespan. Your duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Providing expert assessment and therapy services to OT4You clients (including NDIS, Home Care, DVA, Medicare and private).
  • Working closely with clients, their families and other community organisations to improve the overall function and participation of all individuals of all abilities within our community.
  • Collaborating with the team to support continued development and service improvements.

We are offering a generous salary package of $77,000-$90,000 per annum, as well as flexible hours with half day Fridays so you can start your weekend early. Full time and part time applicants will be considered.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor degree (or higher) in Speech Pathology
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in Speech Pathology, preferably working within the NDIS and Home Care
  • Demonstrated a high level of communication skills and team skills
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and passionate about helping others
