Job Overview:

Culture Kings is seeking a highly skilled Content Creator to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for creating engaging content that showcases the Culture Kings brand and products.

About Culture Kings:

We are a leading streetwear retailer with a strong presence in Australia and globally. Our stores offer an immersive retail experience, with daily in-store performances by top DJs and appearances by world-renowned athletes and artists.

The Role:

This role involves end-to-end production of social media content, including capturing and delivering content for local in-store appearances, product releases, and store screens. You will work closely with our Social Media Coordinator and team to develop growth strategies and engagement plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive ideas and opportunities to build the Culture Kings brand through social media initiatives and content
  • Present confidently in front of a camera or audience
  • Work weekends as needed
  • Proficiency with video editing software such as CapCut
  • Develop content for all social media channels (paid and organic)
  • Capture notable guests, events, and activities in the store each day
  • Capture and deliver content for global product releases when needed
  • Identify and deliver product/content opportunities in-store and create engaging content to drive outcomes
  • Self-report on your content performance across organic social accounts
  • Collaborate with organic channel leaders to edit and amplify content for stronger business outcomes

Requirements:

  • Proficient in writing and video production to create engaging posts, images, and videos
  • Expertise in managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) and using scheduling tools
  • Ability to analyze social media metrics and use insights to optimize content and strategy
  • Staying updated with social media trends and adapting quickly to new platforms and tools
  • Innovative thinking to develop unique and captivating content
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders
