Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic - Mining Opportunity

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our mining team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy machinery used in the extraction of minerals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair heavy machinery, including drill rigs, excavators, and trucks
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with equipment
  • Collaborate with other mechanics to ensure timely completion of tasks
Requirements:
  • Certification in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent
  • Experience working with heavy machinery, preferably in a mining environment
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
