About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Type B Service Technician to join our clients dynamic team. This role requires a professional who is adept in handling Type B gas appliances, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, commission, and maintain Type B gas appliances and systems across different sites in Australia.
  • Conduct routine and emergency maintenance procedures to ensure optimal functioning and safety of all systems.
  • Adhere to and promote strict safety protocols and compliance with national and local regulations.
  • Provide technical support and advice to clients, enhancing customer satisfaction and maintaining high standards of service.
  • Document and report on installation activities, system performance, and maintenance tasks to ensure comprehensive records are maintained.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system designs based on field observations and operational feedback.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay abreast of technological advancements and regulatory changes.
Requirements
  • Certified in handling Type B gas appliances with relevant technical qualifications.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the gas, energy, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electronic systems related to gas appliances.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in remote locations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and quality.
