Clinical Area Manager

This leadership position involves collaboration with managers to ensure teams are trained, supported, and held accountable for performance expectations.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving accountability to performance metrics, developing strategies to enhance a positive work culture, and leading by example through maintaining a clinical caseload.
- Leadership Responsibilities:
- Drive accountability to performance metrics, clinical policies, and procedures.
- Develop and champion strategies to enhance a positive, supportive, and inclusive work culture, fostering teamwork and well-being to raise job satisfaction.
- Lead by example by maintaining a clinical caseload (Minimum expectation of 21 billable hours per week).
We are seeking someone with:
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed billable hour/KPI expectation.
- Proven ability to maintain clinical standards and positive patient outcomes.
- Ability to develop & implement new strategies and prioritise workloads.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and influencing skills to lead and drive excellence.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Positive disposition, empathy, and patient manner.
Please note the following essential requirements:
- Minimum 4 years clinical experience.
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Speech Pathology.
- Current SPA membership.
- Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate.
- Current Working with Children or willingness to apply for a one-off check.
- NDIS Worker Check.
- Satisfactory Police Check.
- Current Medicare Provider Number or capacity to obtain.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required, including the requirement to travel & work across multiple sites.
