The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Controls Engineer to join the team in Perth.
Some key responsibilities of this role will include:
· Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, ensuring alignment between the schedule, project scope and key milestones.
· Monitoring and controlling project budgets, preparing cost forecasts, tracking expenditures and identifying cost variances.
· Implementing EVM techniques to track project performance and providing regular updates on project progress and performance metrics to stakeholders.
· Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies, as well as managing and documenting changes in scope, budget and schedule, ensuring proper approvals are obtained.
· Preparing and delivering accurate and timely project reports, including progress, risks and financials.
· Facilitating effective communication between project teams, stakeholders and management.
About You
· Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, relevant certifications (PMI-SP, AACE CCP) are highly desired.
· Proven proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Earned Value Management.
· Proven track record in large-scale construction, infrastructure or utilities projects.
· Strong data analysis, risk assessment and cost control skills.
· Excellent communication, organisational and multi-tasking abilities.
