Strategic Transport Planning Lead

We are seeking an experienced transport planner to lead our strategic planning unit and contribute to the delivery of projects and strategies that address the region's growth.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in transport planning, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. They will be responsible for managing the preparation of transport strategy and providing expert advice to senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing transport strategies that align with the city's vision and goals.
  • Providing technical advice on transport planning issues and influencing policy decisions.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects and strategies.
  • Managing business planning requirements and budget development.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in transport planning, preferably at a municipal or statewide scale.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
