We are seeking an experienced Underground Mine Surveyor to join our team at the Gwalia operations near Leonora, WA. As a key member of our Mining team, you will be responsible for maintaining survey control over the development and stoping activities of the Gwalia mine.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting survey pickups, CMS, and scans for the development of as-built data for development, production advance, and reported volumes;
- Completing high-order survey control set outs for production drills, raise bores, and jumbo development to minimize overbreak;
- Maintaining the upkeep of survey equipment and survey processes for reporting, logging, and archiving of survey data;
- Installing survey control stations to industry best practice methods, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements;
- Producing survey plans for mining and safety activities.
- Diploma in Mine Surveying (minimum) or equivalent;
- Underground mine survey experience;
- Strong computer skills with competency in the programs Deswik CAD and Pix4D;
- Experience in the safe use of Optec V400 CMS;
- Familiarity with the use of Leica TS15, MS60 Total Stations;
- Familiarity with the use of Leica GPS GS16.
