ICT Officer

The ICT Officer plays a crucial role in supporting the technical needs of the school community, working collaboratively with staff to ensure the successful delivery of learning and pastoral outcomes.

• Supervise and manage General Employees at a lower level, overseeing their recruitment, work allocation, professional development, performance appraisal, and training.
• Provide technical advice and guidance on policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Apply inventory and purchasing control procedures to ensure efficient management of resources.
• Initiate and handle correspondence, including confidential matters, with professionalism and discretion.
• Develop and implement recommendations for ICT infrastructure upgrades, considering the needs of new applications and equipment redundancy.
• Provide technical direction for software upgrades, licensing, backup recovery, virus protection, printing systems, server maintenance procedures, and network security.
• Supervise and maintain hardware and software components of the school computer network.

• Relevant industry experience and qualifications.
