Assistant Centre Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Centre Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Centre Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Centre Leadership Team to create a safe and secure environment where children can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Centre Leadership Team to develop an exceptional culture of quality and safety
  • Build lasting relationships with families to ensure their children receive the best education and care
  • Contribute to making your Centre an example of Guardian's mindsets of being brave, positive, thoughtful, and professional
Requirements:
  • A completed Diploma in Children's Services or Bachelor of Education (or working towards it)
  • Prior experience working in a long day-care centre in a leadership role or management role
  • Can work Full time and flexible in shifts
  • Sound knowledge of the NQF and EYLF
  • Good knowledge of child protection and safety standards
  • Budget and financial accountability experience (including Labour cost experience)
  • Current First Aid and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates, and valid Working with Children check for VIC state
