CQUniversity is seeking a skilled information professional to provide high-quality services to a diverse community of library clients.

This is a key role within the Library's Student and Academic Engagement team, where you will operate within a service management framework to provide a high standard of client service.

You will be responsible for assisting clients with finding and using information resources, providing advice and support to academic and teaching staff, and collaborating with Library staff and Digital Services to provide user-centred services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced information services to clients, utilizing high-level problem-solving and decision-making skills to resolve complex problems.
  • Assist clients with finding and using electronic resources, systems, and software used in a library environment.
  • Communicate complex concepts and convey information in a non-technical manner to a diverse range of internal and external clients.
  • Collaborate with Library staff and Digital Services to provide user-centred services and improve business processes.
Requirements
  • Eligible for associate or allied field membership with the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).
  • Relevant experience in providing advanced information services, with a proven ability to use high-level problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Advanced skills and experience with a wide range of electronic resources, systems, and software used in a library environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts and convey information in a non-technical manner to a diverse range of internal and external clients.
