About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Services Employee to join our team at Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT. As a Support Services Employee, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and services to our residents, ensuring they can live a full and meaningful life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality cleaning, laundry, and kitchen services to maintain a clean and safe environment for our residents.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional resident outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in providing exceptional care and services.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment, promoting a culture of empathy and compassion.
  • Work flexibly across various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends, to meet the needs of our residents and services.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in aged care or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service and outcomes.
  • Flexibility to work across various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
  • Ability to provide evidence of COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations.
