About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Affinity Education Group. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in creating healthy and nutritious meals for our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of children of all ages
  • Collaborate with our nutrition team to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Prepare and cook meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Manage inventory and ordering of food and supplies
  • Work closely with our educators to provide healthy food options that support our educational programs
Requirements
  • Current Food Safety and Handlers (Health and Community) Certificate
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • Experience in an early childhood setting
  • Reliable transportation to and from our centre
  • Current first aid certificate and resuscitation certificate
