About the Role:
Be an integral part of our team at Uniting AgeWell Hawthorn, delivering person-centred care to our residents.
You will provide care to residents with complex needs, including palliative care, dementia support, restorative care and pain management. As a Level 3 Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for administrative tasks, including documentation and leadership.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing skills to residents and their families, considering cultural, spiritual and individual needs
- Manage complex needs, including catheter management, syringe driver management, wound management and identification and escalation of clinical deterioration
- Provide leadership, support, orientation and education to Enrolled Nurses and Extended Care Assistants
- Promote a harmonious team approach through safe practice measures in medication management

About You:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. You should have:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Div 1
- Experience as a Registered Nurse in residential aged care
- Desirable: experience with dementia care and palliative care support
- Proficiency in decision-making, critical analysis and problem-solving
- Demonstrated ability to delegate and prioritise in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills
- Commitment to our BEST philosophy and values

Salary: $43-$47 per hour (dependent on experience) plus salary packaging benefits
