Ultrasound Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Imaging Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality ultrasound imaging services to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive diagnostic services, utilizing your expertise in ultrasound imaging to inform treatment decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of general and complex ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, musculoskeletal, vascular, obstetrics, breast, and procedures.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of ultrasound imaging principles and techniques, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to optimize patient flow and ensure efficient service delivery, while maintaining a focus on quality and safety.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and clinical practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
  • Experience and competence in a wide variety of general ultrasound examinations.
  • A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, or willingness to obtain.
