About the Role:
The Children's Court operates on Saturday/Sunday and public holidays to ensure young people in custody are brought before a magistrate as soon as practicable.
This role is responsible for managing the registry function of the court, including the receipt, processing and maintenance of court documents. The successful applicant will be required to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of the court.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the registry function, including the receipt, processing and maintenance of court documents
- Providing administrative support to the court staff
- Assisting with the preparation of court lists and other court materials
- Maintaining accurate records and files
- Performing other related duties as required
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role or industry
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
