Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Data Product Owner to partner with our data engineering and senior leadership teams. This role will involve defining product strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering business outcomes through data-driven insights and product features.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the engineering team to achieve business objectives and optimize product performance.
- Work with data engineering and analysts to ensure the product scales effectively and meets user demands.
- Develop business scope documents, define user personas, and advocate for impactful changes to drive business growth.
- Balance short-term progress with long-term objectives and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Act as the escalation point for client issues requiring product change resolution and interact with key suppliers and partners.
- Over 3 years of experience in product management within consumer web or SaaS products.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data analysis, data governance, and extracting value from data.
- Familiarity with databases, SQL, and big data tools is an advantage.
- Experience with product management techniques, including backlog management, defining user stories, and working with Agile or Scrum frameworks.
- Proven API/Integration experience and comfortable reading API documentation and diving into technical details.
- Experience in developing products using quantitative data and designing aesthetically pleasing products.
- Strong desire to tackle new challenges and positively impact users' lives.
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a technical field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
This is a hybrid role, requiring 2-3 days of office presence per week. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data and a proven track record of advocating for and supporting teams. Experience in the fitness industry is highly advantageous.
