Job Title: Academic Operations Coordinator

This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the seamless operation of faculty activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support across various facets, including recruitment, finance, and operations.

Key responsibilities include coordinating administration across the employee lifecycle, managing leave and termination processes, preparing financial reports, and operationalising university policies and systems.

  • Coordinate and manage administration across recruitment, onboarding, leave and termination processes, adhering to applicable policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support for academic workload processes and related documents as required.
  • Prepare financial reporting for school portfolios on expenditure against budget and project accounts, and provide ad-hoc reports and support as needed.
  • Operationalise University policies, processes, and systems, liaising with shared-services centres and business partners as necessary.

About You

We seek individuals with experience in the Education sector (preferably Higher Education), demonstrating strong organisational and time management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new systems and databases. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and deliver high-quality customer service.

Essential Selection Criteria include a degree or qualification in Business Administration or relevant qualification, plus equivalent experience in complex administrative environments, ideally within higher education. A proven ability to improve administrative processes and provide advice across a range of policies and procedures is also crucial.
