ROLE OVERVIEW

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Plan and manage kitchen budgets, inventory, and supplies, minimizing waste and ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with culinary trends, techniques, and technologies, applying knowledge to enhance menu offerings and kitchen operations.
DESIRED SKILLS
  • Proven experience in a senior culinary role, with a strong track record of menu innovation and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

AQF Associated Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) in a relevant field, such as culinary arts or hospitality management.

EXPERIENCE

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in menu innovation, team leadership, and kitchen operations.
