The Australian War Memorial's Events and Ceremonies team is seeking a highly organized and motivated Senior Commemorative Program Coordinator to join their ranks. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and delivering the Memorial's commemorative program, including the annual Anzac Day and Remembrance Day national commemorations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Coordinate and oversee the planning and delivery of assigned ceremonial and event projects, as well as official visits.\
  • Take lead on assigned projects with guidance from senior team members and managers.\
  • Assist other team members in the delivery of their projects.\
  • Prioritize tasks while managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.\
  • Communicate effectively to achieve desired outcomes, managing internal and external relationships.\
  • Report project updates to other team members and managers.\
  • Work outside core business hours, weekends, public and school holidays as needed.\
  • Participate in government procurement and WHS processes.\
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder management experience.

**Requirements:**

  • Demonstrated experience with or understanding of event and/or project management principles.\
  • High level of administrative and communication skills with attention to detail.\
  • Familiarity with or willingness to participate in government procurement and WHS processes.\
  • Well-developed stakeholder management experience.
\r

**Additional Notes:**

\r

This position requires manual handling and may involve working during peak periods (March, April, October, and November) for preparations and delivery of the Anzac and Remembrance Day national commemorations.

**Salary:** $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
