Role Overview

 As a Learning Enhancement Teacher, you play a vital role in increasing access and engagement for all students by identifying and removing barriers to learning.

 This position requires a dedicated professional who can deliver individualised programs, team with colleagues to provide in-class support, and work collaboratively with classroom teachers to develop and regularly update Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and Personalised Learning Plans (PLPs).

  •  • Deliver individualised programs that cater to the unique needs of each student.
  •  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide targeted in-class support and enhance student learning outcomes.
  •  • Work closely with classroom teachers to develop and implement ILPs and PLPs that align with the school's teaching expectations.
  •  • Analyse cognitive screeners and discuss implications with colleagues to inform ILP/PLP development.
  •  • Support the implementation of ILPs, PLPs, and Student Management Plans to ensure seamless delivery of student services.

  •  • Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in inclusive education.
  •  • Contributing to the development of policies and procedures that promote inclusive education practices.

 Requirements:

 To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  •  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education or a related field.
  •  • Qualifications in Inclusive Education or experience working in similar areas.
  •  • VIT Registration and First Aid Training confirmation.
  •  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
