About the Role

Centurion is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Officer to join our OSR operations team. As a Warehouse Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring all freight is checked and entered accurately and timely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process general freight from beginning to end, ensuring correct quantity, quality, and types of items have been received
  • Manually handle up to 15 KG, and ensure correct labelling of goods, including identification of dangerous goods
  • Scan items to the correct staging areas and prepare outgoing freight for dispatch
  • Data entry of received freight into the clients' preferred computerisation system (SAP, Oracle and Pronto)
  • Report any discrepancies to the relevant assigned personnel

Requirements of the Role

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced operational environment or warehouse
  • High attention to detail and accurate data entry
  • Good reliability and punctuality at work
  • Capacity to lift and carry heavy objects
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Computer literacy and previous SAP experience (preferred)
  • Ability to take direction from management
  • Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, and processes
