Senior Business Analyst - Record and Privacy Management

Talent International is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their dynamic team in the Financial Services sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Record and Privacy Management, with in-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance, data privacy laws, and records management best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement record management policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations regarding data retention, archiving, and destruction.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant frameworks.
  • Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and manage data protection compliance projects.
  • Work with the legal and compliance teams to ensure the organization's data protection policies are up-to-date and enforceable.
  • Monitor privacy risk, propose risk mitigation strategies, and maintain data breach response protocols.
  • Lead the analysis of business processes related to data governance, privacy, and records management.
  • Gather, document, and validate requirements for new and existing processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and legal requirements.
  • Identify and recommend improvements in workflows, systems, and data management practices.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams including IT, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to drive projects forward and ensure successful implementation.
Requirements:
  • 6-8 years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst with a focus on Record / Privacy Management.
  • Strong knowledge of data protection regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in records management, including policy development, implementation, and compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience with business process analysis, documentation, and optimization.
  • Familiarity with records management software and privacy management tools.
  • Certification in Records Management (CRM) or Privacy (CIPP, CIPM) is a plus.
