Powerline Worker Apprentice

About the Role

Service Stream's Power division is seeking a Powerline Worker Apprentice to join their team in Ferntree Gully. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, improving, and maintaining poles and wires that deliver electricity to customers.

Safety is Our Top Priority

The apprentice will work with a team of highly skilled and qualified Powerline Workers who are passionate about keeping the lights on in their local communities. The candidate will gain invaluable on-the-job training in plant safety practices, rigging, science, and materials, pole, and overhead line inspection.

Training and Development

The Powerline Worker Apprenticeship is a four-year program that includes structured training with Holmesglen institute Technical Training Team and on-the-job experience. The apprentice will complete a Certificate III ESI Distribution and gain numerous SafeWork Vic High Risk Licenses and other industry-accredited operations.
