
Clinical Portfolio Manager

Rheumatology therapy is a highly competitive and complex landscape for customers and patients to navigate.
To address this challenge, Lilly must demonstrate the value proposition of its therapy options through clear messaging, focus, and flawless execution to drive consistent and positive changes in attitudes and behaviors around suitable treatments for people living with Rheumatological disease.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the local Australian Rheumatology market, including current and future competitor offerings, strategy, and potential impacts.
- Gain patient and HCP insights into Rheumatology treatment options and commercial insight into relevant competitors and market dynamics.
- Utilize these insights to contribute to the development and implementation of the marketing strategy for our Rheumatology portfolio indications.
- Build and sustain relationships with key thought leaders and advocacy groups in Australia.
- Partner with cross-functional team members to achieve operational objectives, including customer satisfaction, sales, OPEX & inventory management.
- Ensure all materials and promotional campaigns align with Good Promotional Practices, internal policies, and relevant codes of conduct.
- Work with external agencies to develop creative marketing campaigns, materials, and education programs that express the brand essence and intent.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in business, marketing, science, or nursing.
- Strategic thinking and commercial acumen.
- Leadership skills, particularly in cross-functional collaboration, decision making, and leading without authority.
- Superior analytical, planning, and organizing skills.
- Ability to inspire, engage, and lead a diverse group of people across multiple stakeholder and customer groups.
- Demonstrated ability to develop long-term strategic plans from vision to implementation with success.
- Expertise in influencing and negotiation, financial analysis, and forecasting.
- High EQ, stakeholder management, high learning agility, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
Background:
- Pharmaceutical marketing experience across GP and specialty prescription products, 3+ years of broad experience in marketing roles within pharmaceuticals.
- Understanding and experience of strategic planning, including customer insights, patient journey, segmentation, positioning, branding, messaging, results monitoring.
- Cross-functional partnering capabilities, particularly with Medical and PRA.
- Demonstrated strengths in financial and commercial business acumen, including forecasting, analytics, and contracting.
- Clear understanding of promotional rules of engagement and how to communicate with customers.
