Procurement Manager Opportunity

The Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the company's success by managing contracts, sourcing, and procurement projects. You will be responsible for creating effective supplier relationship management techniques, providing expert advice on category management, and overseeing the execution of procurement projects.

As a successful candidate, you will have a degree qualification in a related field or substantial equivalent experience with relevant professional accreditation. You must also possess excellent communication skills, strategic thinking abilities, and the capacity to solve complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Performance Management: Optimise contract performance by implementing effective supplier relationship management techniques.
  • Category Management Expertise: Provide expert advice and support on all facets of category management, sourcing, and contract oversight.
  • Procurement Project Execution: Manage the execution of procurement projects, prioritising tasks and resources to deliver maximum value.
  • Supplier Relationship Development: Develop relationships with key suppliers to enhance their performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A degree qualification in a related field or substantial equivalent experience with relevant professional accreditation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
