Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team at our Canberra Centre Store. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining high visual merchandising standards, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide superior customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers
  2. Maintain a high level of product knowledge, providing recommendations and advice to customers
  3. Contribute to the achievement of sales targets through effective sales techniques and promotions
  4. Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a clean, tidy, and visually appealing store environment
  5. Participate in stock management duties, including receiving and processing new stock deliveries
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a retail environment is highly regarded
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Able to lift up to 20kg, stand for long periods, and move quickly around the store floor
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
