We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join our team in Victoria, working on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing ITS solutions, product selection and procurement, ITS cabinet design and procurement, reviewing project-wide ITS designs, managing design interfaces and providing input to constructability of ITS designs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and deliver technical solutions aligned with project scope and requirements.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to the VIC ITS Engineering team.
- Conduct risk assessments and escalate critical issues as necessary.
In addition to technical expertise, the ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, effective problem-solving abilities, and adaptability to changing environments.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with electrical, electronic, or controls related disciplines on large infrastructure projects.
- Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) project experience is highly valued.
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
- Australian driver's licence.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with exposure to a diverse range of industries and projects.
