Disability Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in Hamilton. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities.
About the RoleThis is a casual opportunity to work in a homely environment with a tight-knit community of fellow support staff and clients. You will work across multiple sites and a range of shift types, including early morning, afternoon/evening, weekends, sleepovers, and active nights.
Key Responsibilities- Support customers with daily tasks and goals through a person-centered approach
- Work collaboratively with a team of specialists to create meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive
- Provide assistance with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management
- Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote independence and community participation
We offer a competitive remuneration package, including salary benefits and conditions based on the Disability Services Enterprise Agreement Victoria, with membership to HACSU (Health and Community Services Union). You will also have access to salary packaging, purchased leave scheme, and employee assistance program.
Requirements- NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance
- Working with Children's Check (Employee)
- Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Full Victorian Driver's License
- Valid Australian Working Rights
- International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years
- Cert IV Disability qualification (desirable)
