Data Modelling Expert Required

Our team is seeking an experienced Data Modeller to join our Information Architecture team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating closely with the Information Architect team to ensure delivery aligns with the agreed architecture, High Level Solution Designs and Information Strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with Operations teams to guarantee quality, performance, and stability are considered before a solution is designed.
  • Delivering high-quality Data Design in alignment with information and Analytics & BI architecture.
  • Ensuring that the design meets customers' short and long-term Analytics, decisioning, and BI needs.
  • Providing data design services, including Conceptual Data Modelling, Logical Data Modelling, Data Vault Modelling, dimensional modelling, Semantic layer design, ETL design, data labs considerations, table and view optimisation, aggregation, materialisation, and performance considerations.
  • Responsible for developing Enterprise Data Model in alignment to reference Data Model.

Design decisions may include choice of data modelling techniques, reporting tool or cubes, static delivery vs interactive reports, extracts vs runtime look-ups, security methods & archiving methods.

The successful candidate will provide functional and technical direction for data projects and influence on appropriate solution design.
