Cloud Engineering Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team in delivering world-class cloud solutions. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, with 5+ years of experience working with GCP or AWS.


The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining a platform to adhere to industry-leading standards. They will be comfortable taking ownership and striving to deliver improvements, while also knowing when to stand up for platform stability over feature delivery.


We are looking for someone who is confident in their technical abilities and can make decisions that balance flexibility with delivery. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively in a team setting and take ownership of their outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable cloud architectures using Terraform, Kubernetes, and other relevant tools.
  • Maintain and improve existing cloud infrastructure, ensuring high levels of uptime and performance.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes that drive business value.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, providing expert guidance on cloud technologies and best practices.

Requirements:
  • Strong production quality experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Bash Scripting, Jenkins, Maven, capacity planning, and performance testing.
  • Experience working in a customer-facing environment, breaking down monoliths into microservices, greenfield projects, and moving companies to the cloud following best practice design.
